ok, so i need various amounts of therapy. how's it goin? i'm ok, aside from it being really late...or early depending on how you look at it, but i'm totally addicted to this thing. another thing to add to the list "You know you go to mac when..." so here i am trying to think of a nice tribute. there are so many good times, and i can't help but think that of all the yearplays (i know we haven't done misdummer night's dream yet) i liked village of idiots the best, if not for the people, for the comedic presence. and i know that i've had various parts playing a man but i NEVER want to have spirit gum anywhere near my face again or hear kathleen say "you mean there's stuff to take it off with?" again. made llots of good friends that year. i had something to say but dammit i forgot it. i'm not drunk i'm tired. anyway, it's been a....ok i need a nap. what's that word??

ok stop laughing now. can it. and i remembered. it's been a slice. so it took me a while. i wonder how many of you figured it out? only took me about 4 minutes. umm....oh yea not all of you were involved in team sports, but i sure was. ok....soccer....track.....and i tried out for badminton and basketball and volleyball one year. does that count? whether it does or not, i made other good friends there too. danielle and emma, both who got injured and left me. however, i am eternally greatful to emma because she let me use her indoor shoes and danielle for making jen in a better mood sometimes lol. (oh yea i saw jen and tracy playing indoor once...it was creepy...they didn't see me though *phew*) and yes...i've enjoyed the 'diversions' and as i continue to try out for soccer and hopefully be on the senior team um ok i'm done

well high school has definitely been something. other than a slice i mean. i came to MAC knowing about 5 people there, and kathleen was one of them, and i'm fortunate to be as good of friends with her throughout my years here. i also knew anne, not well, but enough to say hi to her and then she introduced me to some other people and it just grew exponentially from there (hehe i'm such a math geek). i hate change in general but MAC was a change i was willing to take. all my "friends" from junior high were going to FX and that was partly why i chose not to. it was scary as hell but i seem to have come out ok, and i met some great people along the way that i can bet you i wouldn't have if i was at FX. i really owe you guys alot, for putting up with me and being patient with me and laughing at some of my jokes. it's nice to meet people who can help me expand my horizons.

on to oscar night. i made up the things this year (not ballots but the winners certificate thingies) and it was tons 'o fun. i especially liked writing the letter tomesquely and crashing the party on my birthday. ahh good times. i've really enjoyed the opportunities to dress up (sarcasm anyone?) lol but it is fun getting together and having good fun, something different every time and whether or not anyone else thinks it's fun, well....they're just jealous (or too drunk to care). i always like our little parties because no matter how many people are there, or what we're doing, we always manage to have a blast.

so i'm sure you're all asking yourselves what are bronwen's plans for the future. well, since i think in french i should really write it out in french. but for your sakes i'll translate. (i'm just a nice person). where to start....well ok i have a soccer game tomorrow. two actually. that's about as much as i know for now. okok, i'm going to the faculte st jean starting in september. taking arts. i hope to play ringette next year and depending on what the process is, i might get to play at worlds as part of the host team which would be so amazing. i'm not exactly sure what i want to do beyond that and as james knows, i don't even have a major or minor yet. *sigh*. the future really scares me because it's unknown. it might help if i had a guarantee of happiness and no worries, however i think i worry more than anybody EVER so i'm really doubting that. at least now i have my schedule for next year planned out. it's kinda hectic cause i have to go back and forth from the faculte about 209543089 bazillion times but i have a class with one of my best friends from junior high so i'm really looking forward to that. other than that, i'll have to keep you posted (which is what the message board is for so use it!)

                SHOUTOUTS!

- Marc: always there to flatter me, stand up for Italian Pride, toughen me up (includes bruises) and generally irritate me. oh and drop me on my head when i'm being dumb. oh, and tell me how grumpy i'm being...*sigh*. i'm jealous that your bruises are always better than mine! lol anyway....you can always make me laugh and i hope you make good on all those brains hiding under the grease. hehe.

- R-Man: you're a star man, you're a good hugger just keep your head out of the boobs lol. i'm really impressed with your ability to come to a new school and not cry everyday. (i would lol) i always look forward to our entertaining discussions. you're really confident to get up on a stage and make a fool of yourself, it could either be classified as insanity or brilliance and i'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and go with brilliance. keep it up thekthy (say it out loud...)

-  Russell: so you learned the hard way that dead fish aren't good birthday presents. i guess you're still an ok guy, and no one else seems to appreciate my love of old rock and stuff. and remember we still have our PP club....yea i don't remember what it stands for either....lol. you're a really good actor, really smart, and always good for a laugh and by the way, do you think i could borrow your heteronoculars?

-  James: we go way back my friend....kinda weird to think about it that way but it's true. the good old HC days, it's too bad you left but i guess it's kinda cool that we re-met. we'll always keep in touch, it's a bond or something. we'll be the ones organizing stuff this time! thanks for the chats in the car, you're a great friend. anyway, you're a talented guy, and a great guy to have around. keep it up and show everyone that gorgeous smile!!

-  Will: "This is my Don Kyoto move coming up...."--"Will, if you throw that yellow ball...."--"Shit.". good times, yes i know you kicked my ass, it was the stupid net. i think i've had some of my most interesting conversations with you....all of them quite memorable. you amaze me, you're so good at so many things, and i know one day you'll be incredibly successful, and i expect you to remember me! after all, you did make a commercial of my ass....anyway thanks for skating with me, you're the only one ;)

-  Tim: yes, we've had our moments, but how could i stay mad at a cute face like yours? lol i don't know either. lol english class, watching oedipus and the bad audio...did it kill you too? yea i know....*hug* it'll be ok. i'm sure there are support groups out there somewhere for us. anyway, you're a great guy, and be superb at whatever you decide to do in the future.

-  Tom: where do i begin....it all started in science in grade 10 (i think) with Mr.K...you're the one who brought me to my full potential in a cartoon so i guess i should sorta be greatful...hehe stupid leet. i'll never get it. your conversion to christianity makes me proud of you, proud that you found something and stuck with it. life skills baby lol. anyway, you're really smart and funny and we've had our trials but friendship always prevailed and i hope it stays for a long time.....you're uber-cool. hat!

-  Paul: you became one of the best friends i've ever had and always been there to listen to me complain lol. i've finally gotten the nerve to talk to your mom in french, and i learned to follow and enjoy circular conversations, they're better than any kind of conversation! thanks for putting up with me and i'll always be here when you need someone to teach you how to drive or help you not fall while rollerblading. your courage and strength have inspired me and i hope you  never give up on anyone, least of all yourself. follow your dreams and when you get there i'll be right beside you celebrating. cheers

-  Alex: well, we done good huh? i can't wait til you turn 18 then you me and Shari can go to the bar wearing our grad dress tops. lol i'll keep the foamies in.....i mean....i'm so glad we got to be better friends this year and i actually learned that people do go to band camp....go figure. jokes aside, i think it's really cool that you're in a marching band and i can't wait until i can come and see your show. thanks for bragging to everyone about my musical talent....your interest and desire to learn more about music is something i'm sure you'll bring to your future students! btw, you speak on an A flat.

-  Laura: so many good times, i can't count. how about a YOU'RE PATHETIC! for old times sake. and throwing grapes at stew was quite memorable. you've been a great friend to me for pretty much 3 years and i know i wouldn't be the same without you. you've tried alot of things and had success at alot of it, i just hope when you're rich and successful you'll still talk to me :)

- Constance: where would Will be if we hadn't taught him the "ass thing". maybe better off but shhh.....oh and explaining to tim why eating a girl out is gross and it doesn't make it better if they have a big nose...hahahaha. ok that's kinda crude. anyway, i got to know you better this year, and you've got alot going for you, so best wishes and kick some as next year! ready? OK!

-  Danielle: i don't even need to mention asking Mom (Mr.Caron) if you could go to the kitchen (the bathroom) and because i did i'll also mention the time we were skipping and i told him my mom was picking us up for an appointment. ahh we were so young lol. doggone it you guys. grade 10 rocked and i'll always remember you guys getting that card signed and the cake it was one of the nicest things anyone's ever done for me. you're duper-smart and pretty so i wish you all the best!

- Emma: MAGPIE!! hehe....we've definitely had our moments. i remember you from grade 10 science and from yearplay and how i admired you so much. you do so much for other people and always make me laugh. we think of the stupidest things. here's to many more slurpees and poutines and then working them off....not. lol best of luck because i know wherever you are in 10 years it'll be paying off big time in every way.

- Lisa: i think i had more fun playing soccer last year with ernie and sam and you than i ever had before. it was nice having someone to talk to and laugh with and of course, win an award with. you did a great job organizing track and field this year too. you're gorgeous and i know that you'll bring smiles and a great attitude wherever you decide to go.

- Kathleen: well my friend, nous avons eu des annees tres speciales. a friendship that began in grade 1 has lasted 11 years. i can't believe how old we are or how much we've grown. i've learned so many things from you and without you i would never have met alot of the people i'm friends with now. your faith has inspired me and your personality has improved mine. it was annoying but nice to have a good conscience sometimes lol. congratulations on what you have accomplished and i know your good record and accomplishments in the future will be even more impressive.

- Shari: what can i say, were we graceful or what. i still think we should have done the macarena (i sense emma glaring) but it was definitely an experience and i'm glad you didn't give up on it. thanks for always listening to me and giving me rides and generally looking hot lol. i admire you alot (purely platonically so you know) and i think it'd be cool to meet the belgians. okok but seriously, thanks for everything and wherever you decide to go, i know it'll work out for the best. maybe i'll seeya at UBC :)

- Anne: where do i begin? i never would have guessed that we'd be friends from knowing you before. i was always intimidated by your talent and confidence, but i've learned that a quick poke to the side reveals a weakness hah! i miss our chats as we walk home, i always looked forward to them. you definitely helped me survive grade 10 and i hope our friendship can continue even though we live so far apart. your talent for writing and creativity still amazes me so i think that there is no boundary on what you could accomplish. oh, and always remember to pee BEFORE walking home. or anywhere else. lol.

- Alexis: i think that math is our greatest accomplishment and yes OUR because i couldn't have done it without you lol. i'll miss Mrs. Martin but we could always stay and differenciate until the cows come home! sorry, it's classic! i don't know how you didn't have a mental/nervous breakdown around IB exams, i truly think you're a genius bordering on insanity but nonetheless you're a person that everyone can learn from and benefit from. best wishes and invite me to your oscar parties!!

a big thank you goes out to each and every one of you for absolutely everything. you will never be forgotten and i hope you all find happiness and success, whatever your idea of that may be.  May God bless you and keep you safe and always stay in touch!

                      Love, Bronwen
