ahh yearplay. i'm already in withdrawal and closing night was just last night. after
sleeping in until 2 this afternoon, i feel almost recovered. this year we did A Midsummer
Night's Dream (Shakespeare in case you aren't sure). it went really well! we had various challenges,
forgotten lines, wrong music played, bowers falling etc. but the show must go on! and that it did. good times all around,
and it got good reviews. alot of the krew was involved in it, and if they weren't, they at least saw it. (if they didn't they'd
better as hell pretend they did!). my brother even saw it by choice! i mean...my neighbour who uses the computer....ANYWAY
thats not the point. the point is that it was lots of fun, stressful, but fun and a good experience and i'm sad it's over
but at least i'll get my life back and hopefully a job! yay! and sleep! ok wishful thinking. but here's a list of some of
the krew who were involved and what they did:
Alex - musical fairy, composed music, etc.
Paul - Egeus, Hermia's evil and mean father
Bronwen - ....a fairy (i was damn graceful too!)
Will - Peter Quince, director of the play within the play...ironic
huh
Constance - Titania, fairy queen, hot!
Shari - fairy with me! couldn't have done it without ya!
R-Man - the master of the puck dance.....Puck himself!
Tom - Bottom the Weaver/ass...and a donkey hehe...
James - the Lion's part, it was so cute!
Emma - set, costume, choreography (sp??) and everything we needed
basically i love you!
Kathleen - Helena, one of the lovers, a spaniel
Laura - Cobweb, one of Titania's fairies
Tim - lights, music cues, technical stuff that no one else understands
everyone else was a spectator. good times all! just a few memories down here so enjoy
them! and remember, my gracefulness was all acting, my best performance yet :)
